Guild Rules. Empty Guild Rules.

The Rules

1. You will not break rule number 1.

2. Do not buy from Gold Selling or Power Levelling sites.
We do not endorse these and they are banned by several MMO companies, if you are caught doing so by another guild member or myself, you will be kicked from the guild and reported. Alternatively if you know of a guild member committing these acts, report them to a guild member of higher authority quickly. Anyone covering for someone will receive the same punishment. We will help people with Gold and Power Levelling if needed, but not for the sake of getting end game, the levelling and quests are part of the fun of the game and allow you to learn how to play your class well. High levels that power level often end up being really crap at their class and are a hindrance. We also have a guild WH so that you can borrow/trade items.

3. We do not tolerate forum/guild spying.
Spying on guild forums often causes hassle and accusations. Those that dealt with the last Spy incidents, which we were not part of but got accused of anyway, will know how much hassle it was. We will however have in game scouting parties that will be involved with spying in terms of intel gathering in game and will not require joining another guild.

4. Trash Talk is fine, as long as you’re messing around, but don't aggravate people to the point it becomes a flame war.
Also keep trash talk clean, teasing family members, nationality, etc. can take the fun out and just breaks things down. I know we will occasionally do the whole nationality joking around, i.e. England vs. America, but when someone says stop, you fucking stop.

5. Respect your fellow guild members and look after them.
Appreciate that some are not here for the same reasons you are. And never forget to give compliments.

6. Please keep disputes to PM's as much as possible.
If you cannot sort out the issue then contact a Captain or if the severity warns please do not hesitate to contact an Admin.

7. No griefing or camping players.
If they do it to you, inform a GM and take screenshots as evidence. Also let the guild know. I am sure there is someone that will enjoy taking care of them.

8. No begging or demanding for anything.
Ask nicely for help and you will more than likely receive it. Your guild mates are there to help support you not to wipe your ass for you or hold your hand.

9. If at any point you need to go inactive for an extended period of time, leave a notice so we know about it. Guildees who go inactive for 3 weeks (in-game) or 4 weeks (forum) without notice will be kicked from the guild, for more information regarding our rules for activity, read below.

10. From the moment you are accepted and registered, you will have approximately 1 week to become an active member of the clan, this involves making several posts on the forum, actively par-taking in threads, playing with us in-game or joining us on Vent. If you fail to demonstrate any of these then it shows us that you just aren't interested enough and may be removed from the clan without notice

Racial slurs and explicit content (i.e. nudity) have not been a problem. You can expect a major warning if you have been asked to stop using either and continue to ignore the minor warnings. Please remember not everyone in the guild will be comfortable seeing racial slurs or explicit content. This will also become an official rule if a major warning has been issued to any guild member. Any Posted content of these will be edited or removed completely.

Religious, Racial, and Political discussions will be immediately removed, and a report written up for discussion from Captains and Lords. These three topics are specifically Not to be discussed openly on the forums. If you choose to have a discussion about any of these topics please do it outside our forums.

This will also apply to the discussion of torrents, cracks, and warez ect. Anything porn related or pirating related can get our forums shut down.

Activity Rules: (Open Beta and beyond)

1. If you are inactive for a period of 3 weeks or longer in-game, you will be kicked from the guild.

2. If you are inactive for a period of 4 weeks or longer on the forum, you will be kicked from the guild. (You have an entire month to simply log on to the forum)

3. If you feel that you must be gone for this long, then for the love of god make a thread or let us know.

4. To make things a bit easier, if you disappear for 3 weeks/4 weeks (depending on the type of inactivity) without notice, an Admin will try to contact you when the deadline is near, if you don't reply, you are kicked, no questions asked. This will only be used for the first three times you do this, if you do the same level of disappearing acts after the third warning, you will not get a notice from us and will simply be removed.

5. You don't even have to post on the forum (though it'd be nice if you did), simply logging onto the forum and skimming is just as good. However, I say this for your own benefit, all important guild updates and changes will be posted on the forum and I will not constantly repeat myself in-game because you're too lazy to check the forum.

Warnings and Bans:
All warnings are accumulated via: In game, Chatbox, and Forums.

Upon receiving warnings you will be notified via PM on the forums. In that PM you can expect to see How many warnings you have received, why you received the warning. Lords also reserve the right to surpass warnings 1, 2, and 3 and go straight to Warning 4 if the situation warrants it.

Warning Process:

Minor warnings: accumulated minor warnings will result in a Major Warning.

Major Warnings: Issued when: accumulated minor warnings, situation warrants a major warning. You will receive a PM and will count as an official warning.

What happens when you receive an Official warning?

  • Warning 1: Receive a PM with the warning, stating why it was received.

  • Warning 2: Demotion of Rank.
Received a PM with the warning, stating why it was received, that it is your 2nd warning.

  • Warning 3: Temporary Forum Ban (this will also depend on the level of rule broken and disobedience.)
    May result in further Demotion.
Received a PM with the warning, stating why it was received, that it is your 3rd warning.

  • Warning 4: Removal from Guild

When someone has been promoted, warning count for that person is reset to 0.

Warnings and Bans: (Chatbox)
(Rules for the forum still apply in the Chatbox)
3 verbal warnings in the chatbox, will result in a temporary chat ban.
Warning 4 will result in a Chatbox ban until further notice. *Will result in a major warning*
*A Chat Ban will also count against you as a major warning.*

Upon receiving a temporary chat ban, you should receive a PM from a Lord explaining why you received the temporary ban, and how long it will last for.

Warnings and Temporary Bans are to the discretion of the Lord depending on the severity of the situation.
